Matterport, the maker of AR space capture technology, sponsored our service design course with a number of topic ideas. For this project, we focused on Consumerization of Home. 
Matterport's focus is on the B2B marketplace. Consumerization of Home represents a new market verticle allowing for for new business models, increased awareness, extended lifetime value, and increased engagement. 
As a service design project, we explored ecosystem maps, journey maps, personas, user interviews, prototypes, to create final recommendation for a SaaS consumer facing product.
Project Goal:
Consumerization of home is discovering how Matterport can be utilized to create value for consumers in the home space, and “become an indispensable, beloved tool for home owners by keeping their resident comfortable and happy.”​​​​​​​
